TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Booking & Payments

  • Regular cleaning appointments are secured on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

  • Payment is due on the day of service/prior to service via standing order, cash, or bank transfer

  • Late payments beyond 7 days may be subject to additional charges.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling 

  • Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a clean; otherwise be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

  • If Star Clean must cancel your scheduled clean then you will be offered a rescheduled appointment. If no alternative can be agreed upon you will not be charged.

3. Pausing Services & Retainer Policy 

  • If a client wishes to pause their cleaning service for a period longer than 2 scheduled cleans, a retainer fee of 50% per clean will be required to hold their regular slot.

  • If a retainer is not paid, the time slot may be offered to other clients, and availability upon return cannot be guaranteed.

  • Clients who resume services without a retainer will need to rebook based on current availability.

4. Termination of Services 

  • Either party may terminate ongoing cleaning services with 7 days’ notice.

  • If a client repeatedly cancels at the last minute or misses payments, the business reserves the right to discontinue services.

5. Cleaning Equipment 

  • All products and cloths will be provided by Star Clean unless a specific product is required by the client in which case they would be asked to provide this.

  • The cleaner will use the clients own hoover which must be safe to use, fully charged and in full working order.

  • The cleaner will also use the clients mop which should be fit for purpose.

  • If equipment is required to be provided by Star Clean the client must state at the time of booking.

6. Liability & Access 

  • Star Clean is not responsible for damage to fragile or improperly secured items.

  • Clients must provide clear access to the property at the scheduled time.

  • If entry is not possible (e.g., locked doors, no key provided), a full-service fee may still apply.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee 

  • If a client is dissatisfied with their clean, they must notify Star Clean within 24 hours for a resolution.

By booking a cleaning service with Star Clean, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
